Magnificent DMV

So, today was the DMV appointment. The dude behind the counter was completely disinterested, had his arms crossed, looked anywhere but at us, had the most bored look on his face I’ve ever seen in my life and seemed annoyed by the mere presence of people. Needless to say, I got nowhere with my DL application because not only do yyou need two forms of ID, you also need two items as proof of residency and they can’t be from the same place or agency etc. So, now I get to figure out other things to take with me to the next appointment in November and hopefully get the ball rolling on that finally.

We even went to AAA to see if we could add me to the insurance but alas, unless we want to cancel the current one and get a new, more expensive one, it’s a no-go. It’s not worth doing that for just a couple of months. Oh well, if I’ve waited this long, I can wait a few more months. It’s not like I have a car available all the time anyway. No biggie.

Later we decided on going to the movies and ended up seeing The Magnificent Seven. It was pretty good, lots of action, laughs and some sad moments too.
